Dr. -Ing. Nishant Prajapati is a highly skilled Computational Engineer with expertise in Modeling & Simulations and Research & Development. Currently, he is working as a Summer Intern at ONGC, where he is getting familiarized with the field of Oil and Gas. He has studied various components of a sour gas processing system at Hazira Plant, including Gas Receipt Terminal, Gas Sweetening Unit, Gas Dehydration Unit, Dew Point Depression Unit, Sulphur Recovery Unit, Sour Condensate Processing Unit, Gas Based LPG Recovery Unit, and Kerosene Recovery Unit. Dr. Prajapati has previously worked as a Summer Intern at NTPC, where he gained firsthand experience in power generation through various components like boilers, compressors, and turbines. He also studied the functioning of Mechanical Maintenance Department and Demineralization Plant. Additionally, he has worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Shree Cement, where he coordinated with the team of Mechanical Maintenance in implementing preventive & planned maintenance, conducting root cause analysis of failures, devising breakdown solutions with minimum turnaround time, and procurement of materials. Dr. Prajapati has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where he conducted research on the development of a numerical method for the simulation of the fluid-structure interaction of flexible blades in axial turbines. He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computational Mechanics of Materials and Structures (COMMAS) from Universität Stuttgart and a Deep learning specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from deeplearning.ai.
